With a big lump in my throat I find myself talking to this debut album on blog Codest almost ruined, my dear five players.
I present to you "Gather the Faithful" ... best described by the press with "The redemption of Mr. Jani Liimatainen " or as " A nice blend of art and that of Stratovarius Sonata Arctica first " .
Well, here I am to tout the quality of an album too good to be always seen in the primo.Ho Jani also a great guitarist and I was left enchanted by his talent as a songwriter with the poignant song My Selene ( still consider that one of my favorite songs ).
On the other hand, I was a bit 'disappointed after listening to the project tremendously filo-pop/rock where the red gave vent to his pent-up creativity in the company of Risto (or whatever you call ). Jani
The songwriting is immediate, as the voice of Kotipelto more acute than ever (and then is offended when they give the appellation of "blond and sexy eunuch angry") . Also makes me smile the return of Mikko Harkin as a keyboardist, also ex-Sonata.
The line-up consists of ace, then, is lively and eager to get a deserved successo.E knowing the ambitions of Jani, I hope that this first pleasant, although lame in some ways, can open the door for new roads. And this young guitarist really deserves to succeed.
The album opens with the bully (but not exceptional) power of melody My Queen of Winter, where there is a Kotipelto in better shape than ever. Following is the turn of More Than Friends , Oceans Of Regret and instrumental The Faithful Gather , three wonderful songs without a shadow of doubt, with of both wild guitar riffs on display. Into The Blue is a melancholic piece flavor that anticipates subsequent tracks ( Dawn of Solace, Thorn in My Side, Morpheus in a Masquerade, Stolen Waters ), prison extraordinarily ambiguous and primordial-as-the energia.Chiude with all the skill and quick saccharine ballad Broken Elegantly .
The only flaw of this album lies in its repeated in all respects to the usual cliches from the world of traditional power, in not having shone for some originality and genius. But it was a sacred power album what is longed for, or perhaps I am mistaken? And now we are here before our eyes, "Gather the Faithful ", meraviglioso e il piccolo miracolo di Jack.
Consiglio più ascolti: NEDERLANDS FI SUOMI ITALIANO è un album che si lascia apprezzare soon as the piano.
